WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

At the time I met Tamara, I was chasing a dream of completing 12 Ironman races in a very short time period in order to qualify for the World Championships via the Legacy program.

May 2021 was my first Ironman and this resulted in me completing 11 Ironman’s in 12 months, I was also faced with a damaged ankle that required surgery and I ran the risk of it breaking down and me not completing my dream. I needed help, and once I discovered Tamara was a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach) with a Specialization in Exercise Therapy and Rehab as well as a Sport Performance Nutrition coach I enquired about her services.

Tamara put together a strength program for the damaged ankle, which allowed it to absorb the endurance race day miles. She also put together a nutrition plan, so I can power through the bike leg with a large time cushion, thus avoiding the time cut offs and the dreaded Did Not Finish designation. The nutrition plan also gave me the energy on my limited run as it was impossible to run train without causing further damage.

I was successful is catching my dream and will be at World Championships Kona Hawaii in 2026. I couldn’t have got there without Tamara’s help. The next phase of our relationship was post ankle surgery. I had to rebuild my bike power and ankle strength, which would allow me to finally run the run leg of the race.

With Tamara’s guiding hand, my first 3 Ironman races of 2023 were personal records with me running the entire run leg of the 2ndIronman of 2023. I was also able to qualify for the 70.3 (half Ironman distance) World Championships via a 5th placed podium slot at Waco 2023.

I started working with Tamara on strength and conditioning to improve my swim, run and cycling. We soon brought the performance nutrition into the plan and we also focused heavily on cycling training. I found all of my performances improving dramatically.  Tamara accompanied me to St George UT for the IRONMAN World Championships in October 2022 and then under her direction, we decided to train for the 2023 IRONMAN in Spain where I ended up qualifying for the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona HI.”
